Trial riding is riding outdoors on natural trails and roads as opposed to riding in an enclosed area such as a riding arena. There are many different types of equestrian sports (pertaining to horse), but in this section, we are talking of horse/camel riding on nature trails and light riding. Some trail rides may even be directed by professional guides or outfitters, particularly horseback rides at Guest ranches.
